Working For You. Working With You.
The EHMA Annual Conference is the principal European showcase for new managerial ideas and approaches in the health sector. Join us in 2009 for 'Success in a Changing Market', hosted by the Management Center Innsbruck.
Our newsletters keep our members regularly updated on the latest managerial developments in the health sector, as well as with details of EU health-related activities.
EHMA provides members with information and intelligence about the many developments within the European Union which affect health services, including information on EU activities, public health activities, sources of EU funding and general intelligence.
Conferences, workshops and task forces examine critical management issues facing health services today.
We currently present the Karolinska award for excellence in healthcare management, which is intended to encourage high quality research. The Association welcomes submissions for this award, not only from EHMA members but also from the wider health community in Europe. The 2008 Karolinska Award is now closed.
We provide a confidential and constructive peer review of management development programmes.
We are a clearing house for the dissemination of information about members' activities.
We bring together practitioners, researchers and academics to share information on healthcare management and management development.
We advise international agencies and national and regional governments on management development strategies. We have close working links with the World Health Organisation, the European Commission, the European Parliament, OECD, and the World Bank.
